About Rotate Pages

Rotate PDF turns pages the right way up — useful when a scan came in sideways or a phone capture is flipped.

The rotation is persisted into the PDF's page tree, so the file opens correctly in every reader and renderer. Unlike preview-only rotation, the change survives upload to email, print, and document-management systems.

How it works

  1. 1

    Upload the PDF.

  2. 2

Choose the rotation angle and which pages to rotate (all, or a specific list).

  3. 3

    Download the rotated PDF.

When to use it

  • Fix sideways scans before sending to a client.
  • Rotate phone-captured documents to portrait.
  • Flip a single landscape diagram inside a portrait report.

Privacy

Files are processed by the Evixpdf engine in-house with the AGPL-free MIT stack — no third-party cloud upload. Sessions auto-purge after processing.

Frequently asked questions

Short answers to the questions people most often ask about Rotate Pages. Read the one that matches your situation — they're written to be skimmed.

1Is the rotation visible in every PDF reader?
Yes. The rotation flag is written into the page object, so it renders correctly in Adobe Reader, Chrome, Preview, and any conformant reader.
2Can I rotate only specific pages?
Yes. Enter a comma/range list like "1-3, 5" to rotate only those pages, or "all" to rotate the whole document.
